The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) is the leading professional organisation for interiors designers in the UK. Since 2018 Gym Marine Yachts & Interiors have been part of this prestigious organisation, as an Industry Partner Member.
About BIID
Originally founded in 1965 as the Interior Decorators and Designers Association (IDDA), the BIID has a wealth of history. Memberships for the BIID are for both commercial and residential interior designers. However, to become a BIID member there are strict entry requirements which assess training, experience and professionalism. Once a member, they have access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and specialist courses. Their support to interior designers through development and education amongst a number of other factors is what makes them an institute worth being part of.
Inside Knowledge Conference
On Thursday 7th November, we are excited to be exhibiting at the British Institute of Interior Design Inside Knowledge conference. This annual event explores and examines the key issues facing interior designers. The programme is filled with expert speakers, with the 2019 conference focusing on the worth of interior designers.
Our exhibition stand will showcase a range of luxurious products that we have available. One of which is our new GM Custom Dumbbells showcased on our brand-new rack that we are launching at the BIID conference. These dumbbells are perfect for those that want to add a touch of personalisation to their home gym. Furthermore, anyone who visits our stand will be in with a chance of winning a stunning Vluv Seating Ball.
